education and training
The exchange of knowledge is an important part of developing solutions to water problems and today the need for an understanding of a broad field of subjects outside of the traditional areas of engineering and hydrology has become very apparent. The Hydra consortium offers a number of different avenues for education and learning. Various individual member organizations offer MSc level and Graduate Diploma courses as listed below. As a consortium we are able to develop courses across a breadth of different areas (see directory of expertise) which may be tailored to meet the needs of a particular organization.
We are also actively involved in developing workshops and seminar series in critical areas of debate within the hydrosciences to stimulate discussions and interactions within the wider water community.
Please contact the HYDRA secretariat for further information.
